Geo/IP Lookup
Find the approximate location, network owner, ASN, and timezone associated with an IPv4 or IPv6 address.
Enter an IPv4 or IPv6 address to see its approximate geographic location, network owner (ISP or hosting provider), ASN, and timezone. Useful for investigating suspicious login attempts, troubleshooting a server's outbound IP, or checking where a visitor to your site is likely connecting from. This looks up public geolocation and network registry data - it is not a subnet calculator; use the IP Subnet Calculator for CIDR math instead.

Common questions
How accurate is IP location?
Country and region are usually more reliable than city or postal code. IP geolocation never identifies an exact street address.
Can I look up my own public IP?
Yes. Leave the field blank and select Look up IP.
Does this expose private network addresses?
No. Reserved and private ranges do not have public geolocation records and the service rejects them.
What does ASN mean?
Autonomous System Number - a unique identifier for the network operator that routes traffic for that IP, useful for identifying the actual ISP or hosting provider.
