HEIC to JPG Converter
Convert iPhone HEIC / HEIF photos to universal JPG or PNG - right in your browser.
iPhones save photos as HEIC by default, a format that halves storage use but that most Windows apps, older browsers, and non-Apple software still can't open. This tool decodes HEIC/HEIF images entirely in your browser and re-encodes them as universal JPG or PNG, so the file opens anywhere without installing a codec. It's a one-way, single-purpose conversion - if you need to also resize or compress the result afterward, chain it with the Image Resizer or Image Compressor.

Common questions
Why can't I open HEIC files on Windows?
HEIC is Apple's default photo format. Older Windows and many web tools can't display it - converting to JPG or PNG fixes it.
Do you upload my photos?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Your photos never leave your device.
Does it handle Live Photos or HEIC bursts?
It converts the still HEIC/HEIF image. The motion component of a Live Photo isn't part of the still file and won't carry over.
JPG or PNG - which should I pick?
Use JPG for photos where a small file matters. Use PNG if the source has transparency or you need lossless output.
